Percussion Kentucky rifle made by J.P. Guyer of Lycoming County, Muncy, PA., circa 1870. Rifle measures 51" overall with a 35-3/4" octagon 44 caliber rifled barrel with hunting sights and stamped "J.P. Guyer Muncy, Pa.". Commercial percussion lock marked "R.B." with double set trigger control. Full walnut stock with brass hardware. Comes with original hardwood ramrod. CALIBER: 44. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall very good with barrel turning plum. Walnut stock has handling marks with no visible restoration. Good bore with crisp mechanics. Rifle does not appear to have been fired very much.
