Title: John Rigby Highland Stalker .275 Rigby
Short Description:
Full Description: Special Instructions:
This is one of the finest quality rifles that has ever been in our auction catalog- truly a rifle for those in pursuit of adventure. Hailed as a traditional deerstalking rifle, the new Highland Stalker is inspired by the same smaller caliber rifles Rigby produced at the turn of the 20th century that were used by iconic British adventurers such as Karamojo Bell and Jim Corbett. Rigby regards the Scottish Highlands as the birthplace of stalking and the title befitting the rifle. This beauty features a Mauser 98 action, traditional Rigby pattern iron sites regulated to 65, 150, and 250 yards plus original-style engraving on the metal and a hand-checkered stock made from grade 5 wood with a 14 ¼” LOP. The rifle sports a 22” barrel and weighs in at just 7.8 lbs. The Highland Stalker’s striking slim lines and rounded grip shape gives it a very traditional feel plus its lightweight frame makes it ideal for the hills or the mountains. The .275 Rigby cartridge is also known as the popular 7x57mm Mauser so factory loaded ammunition and reloading components are readily available. We want to thank John Rigby and Company for their support of Montana SCI.
