The blued finish to the blade shows some wear as well as dark spots. The spine of the blade is marked with the date of ?37?. The ricasso shows MUNDLOS while the reverse side has the serial number of ?5271? r, the blade is sharp and pointed and measures approx 10". The throat of the scabbard bears the serial number ?5271 r?. The reverse side of the scabbard has the mark of ?MUNDLOS? and ?37?. The grip plates are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel retain most all of the blued finish, with typical spots and signs of wear. The top edge of the pommel exhibits waffen 439 marks. The scabbard shows wear, but overall good, The leather frog displays age and wear. Overall good combat used condition. refer to pictures to make your own determination.
