7-day Sitka-Blacktail Deer hunt
Kodiak Safaris and the Rainy Pass Lodge, Alaska's oldest hunting lodge, (Steve Perrins the 2021 SCI North American Outfitter of the Year! Congratulations Steve!) is donating a fantastic 7-day Sitka-Blacktail Deer hunt for 1 hunter. Hunt dates are to be arranged with the Outfitter for the year 2022 (if available) or 2023 or 2024. This 2-on-1 hunt and includes camp accommodations, meals, guide, trophy fees for one Sitka-Blacktail Deer, including field and trophy preparations. The hunter is responsible for license ($160) and tag ($300) fees and can use the weapon of choice. Each hunter will be assessed a $150 Hunter’s Preservation fee. The arrival point is Kodiak, Alaska, and from there a special transportation charter is required at a cost per person currently at $750RT.
Additional hunters are welcome ($7,500), you can bring a friend or the outfitter will par you up 2x1. The hunt can be upgraded to include other combos (Bear, Dall Sheep, Moose, Caribou and Wolf) at the outfitter’s price list(with the full value of this hunt being applied to any hunt of greater value, including Kodiak Brown Bear or at the Rainy Pass Lodge!). A second Sitka-Blacktail Deer can be purchased for a trophy fee of $1,000 plus Tag. Steve and Denise Perrins have been guiding and outfitting in Alaska for over forty years and have been keeping the wild Alaska hunting tradition alive.
