"The Venture 1800 is made from an ultralight 330-denier Cordura fabric, making it perfect for day hunts when only packing the essentials is needed. The main compartment horseshoe zip provides easy access for larger items, while two zippered compartments on the front inside panel give the user organizational options while in the field. It comes standard equipped with a hydration sleeve, clip, and top zippered access allow for compatibility with common hydration systems.
The Venture 1800 is built with an internal aluminum and polycarbonate frame for added rigidity and strength. It’s available in two sizes to fit a wide range of torso lengths. Choose between Medium and Large when purchasing.
The waist belt is wide and padded, with zippered hip belt pouches for easy access for must-needed items. The waist belt is removable for shoulder strap only use. All the body contact areas feature a breathable mesh for comfort while maintaining stability.
It features a vertical center pocket that provides separation from the main compartment and easy access to items. The accessible top pocket ads storage and security with an internal zippered compartment and Internal clip. In addition, two external stuff-it pockets can store miscellaneous items or secure the legs of a tripod.
The 1800 features compression straps attached to a daisy chain system for full customization of location depending on your needs. Both side and front compression can be set up independently, or a set of straps can be used for top compression. Dedicated bottom compression straps provide improved load distribution and the 1800 is compatible with KUIU bow and rifle holders."

Alaska Professional Hunters Association (APHA) is a Section 501(c)(6), non-profit membership organization. Our members include professional guides and our mission is dedicated to the conservation of our wildlife resources. APHA appreciates the support of its donors and members in helping to further its programs and goals. Auction revenue funds a great portion of APHA's operating budget. The term “auction” refers to silent auction, live auction, online auction and raffle.
Any bid made at an APHA auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the bid price. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 5% per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of the Banquet. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table during the evening auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. If the winning bidder of an auction item refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
APHA strongly encourages Special Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the State, Province, Tribal Nation or Country he/she is hunting. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State, Province or Country they are hunting.
ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% buyer’s premium with a $250 cap.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS (Address Verification System) is completed. All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from APHA Auction Team for verification.
PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 3% ADMINISTRATION FEE
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, APHA will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from Headquarters to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after the Banquet. APHA cannot transfer any firearm at the Banquet.
APHA AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by APHA, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of APHA. APHA provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. APHA does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live, online and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “auction item policy” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by APHA. APHA shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, APHA cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. APHA cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise therefrom. APHA reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available.
SILENT AND RAFFLE PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Silent Auction and Raffle items may be picked up during the auctions. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the auction hall to assist you in obtaining your item.
