Pheasants Forever is one of seven lucky applicants to draw a 2024 Kansas Commissioner’s Big Game Permit. This is a statewide, any deer (whitetail or Mule), any-season permit.
The any-season, an either-species permit may be used by residents and non-residents and is valid during the muzzleloader, archery, and firearm 2024 seasons, with equipment valid for that season.
Each January, the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism (KDWPT) offers seven select big game permits to Kansas non-profit conservation organizations. The winning applicants receive the permit in the form of a voucher. Typically, these vouchers are sold to the highest bidder, who can then exchange the voucher for their designated big game permit through the KDWPT licensing section.
Once a voucher is sold, the price of the permit and 85 percent of the total are returned to a project in Kansas that is approved by KDWPT.

Any bid made at a Pheasants Forever auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, or online,
constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and
subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid
ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your
behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the
successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the sixth
business day after the close of the auction.
Payments for this 2024 Kansas Commissioners Deer Permit can be made by check. If the winner of an
auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the
next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second
highest bidder is unknown, Pheasants Forever shall dispose of the item at their discretion. You will also
be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number.

ADMINISTRATION FEE If item does not get to reserve then the highest bidder will be offered the option

All goods in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties.
The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by Pheasants Forever.
PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Winning Buyer who purchase items through the Online Hunting Auctions website will be contacted by
Pheasants Forever Representative. Buyers may contact Robert at Bhix@pheasantsforever.org and make
alternate arrangements for payment within 10 days prior to the online auction and within 6 days after the
online auction concludes.
