Who doesn't want to hunt Kodiak Island in Alaska? Eric Noll of Off the Dock Charters is giving you the opportunity to do so. New to our chapter this year, Eric is offering a self-guided Sitka blacktail deer hunt on his 98' yacht for one hunter. The lucky winner will travel to Kodiak City, Alaska on a Sunday where you will overnight. In the morning you catch a small wheel plane to Old Harbor, where Eric and his team will meet you and take you to board the yacht which holds up to 10 hunters. Each day, transport to the shore will be provided where the hunter is on his/her own to chase blacktail deer. This area has a 1 deer limit. Guided sea duck hunting and fishing for halibut and rock fish is also offered. The hunt will take place in the fall of either 2024 or 2025. You must coordinate the exact dates with Eric’s schedule. Preferential scheduling is given to groups of hunters so get your buddies to come along. Additional hunters are welcome at the published price. Sleeping arrangements will be no more than 2 to a room with all but 2 rooms have their own bathroom. Meals and soft drinks are provided on board and a bagged lunch is offered to take ashore. Not included are hotel at front and rear end of trip in Old Harbor, Alaska hunting/fishing license, destination travel to and from Old Harbor, meat processing, taxidermy, tips nor gratuities.
