Koto period full polish wakasashi (medium sword) in traditional mountings. 17” signed bladewith fres polish. The blade shows full temper line and good quality with minor imperfections and slight aging or opening due to age (all minor). Old iron tsuba and iron mountings that match well. The older re-wrapped grip with large cast brass menuki of three toed dragons. The scabbard shows metal mounts matching to fitting with samegold inlays and 3 silver bands. The scabbard is good to very good but kozuka knife is missing. An atrractive mounting and very good early blade. Est.: $900-$1800

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
