Koto period naganato (Pole arm) with a 21” curved and thick reinforced blade including lacquered scabbard showing crest or mon with black lacquered shaft or pole. 90% polish showing a few openings and flaws with grainand temper nicely made. The scabbard is very good but opening a seam. The lacquered pole is very good plus with minor aging and storage marks. The shaft measures 51” and over 6ft attached. Rarely encountered andmost likely a noble samurai guard weapon. Est.: $500-$1000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
