2nd Pattern for Krag carbine of brown leather. Some brown japanning remains on the brass throat. Embossed "Rock Island Arsenal/ T.C."  Drain hole is small and small nick in the leather near the tip. **Leather shows some wear but not brittle. Some slight cracking in straps but still strong and intact. Stitching is tight. One small cut and hole in the lower section. Overall in excellent condition.** $300-$500
