Asian Mountain Outfitters offers a unique and adventurous mountain hunting experience fir Mid-Asian Ibex in either Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan. Hunters need to be prepared for cultural/language differences, long range and sometimes quick shooting(proficient to +500 yards) and relatively fit and experienced in mountain hunting. Hunters have an option of shooting a second Ibex ($5,000), Roe Buck(Kyrgyz) or Wild Boar(Tajik) on a trophy fee basis. Drive to hunt camp is from 3 - 14 hours, depending on camp. If hunter prefers a non-horseback hunt(using pack donkeys and foot/jeep hunting), this can be done in Tajikistan. Most common hunting dates are from Sept - Oct, but the season runs from August 15th - December 1st in Kyrgystan and Sept 1st through Feb 28th in Tajikistan. All hunting licenses and fees are included in the hunt. Hunter is responsible for the following costs: flight to and from Bishkek, Kyrgystan or Dushanbe, Tajikistan via Turkish Air/Instanbul, Airport VIP service, meals and lodging in Bishkek (usually 2 -3 nights), extra baggage fees for taking home skin/skull, or shipping trophies home, and staff tips(clients will be provided guidelines). Hunt can be delayed with approval of outfitter (hunter will be responsible for any price difference when hunt is delayed). Local guides are used and most do not speak english; if desired, an english guide can be arranged to accompany you (price is minimum $5,000 plus travel and trip expenses).
