L.C. Smith Field Grade SxS shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial #8687. The shotgun is in fine overall condition as re-finished with 26 ½” barrels with a full-length filed rib. The barrels show nearly all of an old, qualityre-blue with a small area of wear on the right side, choked Full and Modified. The receiver shows vivid case hardening with double triggers. The checkered wood stock has been refreshed with the checkering re-cut and a fresh coat of varnish added, a splinter fore end and round knob pistol grip. The butt stock ends with a plastic butt plate providing a 14 ¼” LOP. The bores are good and the action works well. Est.:$300-$600. (C+R).
