1) REMINGTON MODEL 511 SCOREMASTER BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L ,LR. NSN. Bbl. 25". Model 511 Scoremaster bolt action rifle mfg. by Remington. Top of the bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information, followed by the model designation, with the Remington trademark logo and the cal. designation marked towards the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock appears to have been sanded and revarnished. Aluminum beaded blade front sight, with V-notch rear sight. MAGS: one 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning that shows through to gray and brown patinas, with scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-5965/MLW). CURIO. 2) MARLIN GLENFIELD MODEL 81G BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 22". Glenfield Model 81G bolt action rifle mfg. by Marlin. Left side of the bbl. exhibits markings stipulating Marlin's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. Bolt handle exhibits a nickel-plated finish. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with black plastic trigger guard. Brass beaded blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. Receiver is mounted with a Sears Ted Williams 4x scope. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks as well as some small spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Stock shows a few marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
