RIFLES. 1) WINCHESTER MODEL 1906 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# 387073B. Bbl. 20". Model 1906 slide action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1914. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. and patent information, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock, with grooved wood pump. Blade front sight, with V-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and upper assembly. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, with scattered areas of dark surface oxidation present overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting scattered areas of dark pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-7117/MLW). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 57 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 18786. Bbl. 22 1/8". Model 57 bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1930. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model designation, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, and the cal. designation, with Winchester's mfg. and patent information marked on the right. Right side of the receiver is marked with the S# at the chamber. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip buttstock. Blade front sight, with flip-up V-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to gray and brown patinas. Bright bore, exhibiting an area of dark pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining strong rifling throughout.
