Lot of assorted bayonets and holster, including: 1) 2 U.S. M5A1 bayonets mfg. by Imperial with M8A1 scabbards. 1 scabbard is mfg. marked "V.P. CO" and the other "PWH". Spare M8A1 scabbard mfg. marked "PWH". CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original finish, exhibiting some wear and flaking overall. Handles and scabbard exhibit scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. 2) British Pattern 1907 bayonet mfg. by Wilkinson. 2-piece smooth wood scales. CONDITION: metal components exhibit wear and scattered spots of oxidation and pitting, with the blade exhibiting areas of deep pitting overall. Grip scales show scattered marks and impressions, with a chip on the left side. 3) British No. 9 Mk I bayonet mfg. by Enfield in 1954. Left side of socket is marked with the S# (with "PF" prefix), model designation, and the year of mfg. Complete with matching scabbard and khaki canvas web frog. CONDITION: very good, with some light wear overall. 3) Yugoslavian M48 bayonet. Right side of ricasso is marked with Cyrillic characters above "44", with the S# marked on the crossguard. Complete with scabbard. CONDITION: metal components exhibit wear and thinning that shows through to gray patina and layers of hardened grease present overall. 4) Unmarked pebble grain pistol holster. Mag. pouch on front of body. CONDITION: leather has stiffened and is only partially malleable. Closure flap strap has torn. Metal components exhibit oxidation overall. (02-23235/MLW). $300-400.
