Late 18th to early 19th Century Sabre with cast brass hilt and lion head pommel. Period replaced blade showing three grooves that looks Spanish Colonial. Two crude branches period added to Guard. 37" overall, 32" blade measuring almost 1 1/2" wide at widest part. Blade almost strait with only slight curve and taper to point. Some minor pitting and about good overall. In our opinion this sword could be Mexican or Alamo era. Est:$350-700
