Leo's Custom Limited Edition Browning BT-100 Grade VI Single Barrel Trap Shotgun, #05006NVK99, 12 ga., 2-3/4'' chs., 34'' bright blue finish barrel, factory ported, with 3/8'' ventilated rib, front and middle white beads and four Invector Plus chokes (Full, IM, Mod. and extended IM). Silver nitride-finished frame displays full coverage, hand engraved vine and leaf scrolls which border gold-applied pigeons on the frame sides and triggerguard, with the limited edition number ''006'' engraved on top lever. Removable trigger group features a checkered gold-plated trigger, adjustable for weight and length of pull, and an ejector-selector switch; no safety mechanism is installed. The 4-way adjustable Monte Carlo pistol-grip stock and wide fingergroove target forend are vivid flame figure Grade VI dark walnut, finished in a high-gloss, with 22 line-per-inch hand checkering; stock is currently fitted with an oversized 1'' black Perazzi recoil pad, the nominal length of pull of 14-3/8''; weight as configured is 9 lbs. In original matching Leo's aluminum Americase with keylocks and foam rubber lining, with extra firing pins and springs. Mechanical condition is very good with moderate wear inside the frame and early loosening around the hinge pin; bore is bright, barrel blue is 97% with assembly marks and areas of pitting from powder residue at the breech with a few oxidation spots along the rib; frame ornamentation shows light handling wear, gold-plating on the trigger is flaking; wood finish is 95% with nicks and light scratches, predominately along the toe line. Stock appears to be uncut for the current recoil pad and the forend has slightly flattened checkering. Foam rubber case lining is deteriorating and keylocks are worn; case exterior is scuffed. Overall, an attractive and rare Browning target gun circa 1995 that would benefit from a little TLC. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (Modern)
