Lot of Two (2) Bayonets, WW1 U.S. Holster, and Flare Pistol: (1) The first bayonet is a Swedish Mauser M1894/14 type with 13'' double edged bright blade and an anchor proofmark on side of ricasso. Grip panels are wood with retaining screws. Scabbard is steel with a frog stud. Crossguard is marked ''I. 13 No. 114''. Condition is good with dents and dings to the wood grips, and scattered rust patina on the scabbard and metal of the handle. (2) The second bayonet is an unmarked Contract Mauser type with a 11-3/4'' blade that appears to have been shortened. Wood grips with screw retainers. Steel scabbard with a black painted finish. Muzzle ring diameter is approx. 3/4''. Condition is good, the blade and metal of the handle having been cleaned bright. Paint on scabbard is about 90%. (3) Holster is a WW1 era U.S. .45 Auto type with maker's mark on the back to ''Warren Leather Goods, 1917''. Front has been dyed black, but the rear remains brown leather, with brass belt loop. Front flap marked with ''US'' in oval, showing faint stamped unit markings that read ''A 311 F''. Condition is good with some crazing to leather and some light verdigris around the brass rivets, belt loop, and stud. 4.) WWII Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Co. U.S. M-8 Flare Pistol, 37mm, metal with aluminum grip frame, checkered black plastic grips. Right side of the frame is marked inside of a triangle ''EVCC/1942/U.S. PROPERTY/PISTOL PYROTECHNIC M-8''. Condition is good. Metal with a mostly yellow hue with areas of frosted surface rust and patches of moderate corrosion; thorough cleaning would improve the overall condition. Left grip with a hairline crack along the front edge and both are otherwise very good. Action needs repair, bore with patches of surface rust and corrosion. Est.: $250-$350/lot.
