Lot of three vintage fraternal swords. 1) The Ancient Order of United Workmen (AOUW) Ceremonial Sword, made by Foster & Son, Chicago, IL. Brass plated fittings, crossguard, and drag marked with a star. pommel has four American shields with the letters A.O.U.W." in each one,black wood grip, floral etched blade , and scabbard marked "A.O.U.W.", and the owners name "Chas. E. Hills" 2) Antique Royal Arch Knights Templar 'Rooster" sword. Knights head pommel , crowned rooster on crossguard, The rooster signifies the Gospel passage when Peter denied knowing Jesus in the events leading to the Crucifixion, where a rooster crowed after Peter's denials. 32" etched, gilded blade with Knight motifs, with "St Paul's Commandery" (Dover, NH) and the owners name "Frank S. Lord". Made by the M.C. Lilly Co. Scabbard is wrapped in blue leather. 3) Ancient Order of United Workmen (AOUW) Ceremonial Sword. Brass plated fittings, knights head/eagle, the figure of knight on crossguard head is broken off, ring mounts marked "Select Knight". & "SK' floral etched "S.K. of A." and owners name "C.T. Bonegan"
