Two Total. 1) Scarce British No4 Mk I cruciform bayonet for the Lee Enfield rifle. The No4 Mk I bayonet was only produced from late 1941 and into the early months of 1942. About 75,000 made. The sole maker was the Singer Manufacturing Co at their Clydebank plant near Glasgow , Scotland. This rare bayonet is complete with its correct No4 Mk I scabbard Socket: "G (Crown) R" over No 4 Mk I" over "S M" , and a small " SM" over "41" on the spring catch. The fakes blades will be slightly shorter than the No.4 Mk I's, this one is the exact length. 2) Savage Stevens No.4 Mk II bayonet. The Savage-Stevens Co. of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, made approximately 1.25 million No. 4 Mk. II bayonets during 1941 and 1942. These were provided to Britain under the Lend-Lease Act. Has the M5 Victory Plastics Scabbard with the integral green webbing frog. The socket is stamped with "S" in square, and a small "S" on the spring catch.
