Lot Includes two Girths 20" and 19.5" in length. These woolen girths continued in use after the civil war until they were replaced by the model 1872 girth. There are two basic color variations, medium blue and darker deep blue. Of these two color variations, these darker deep blue seems to be the more common of the two. All the leather billets, keepers, the iron buckles and "D" ring are present and intact and the girth billet loop is sewn across the center of the girth. **All original full length with all the components present and intact. The leather has some light cracking & chipping but is still pliable and not real brittle. The wool has some fraying in spots but overall in Very good to excellent condition.** $500-$700
