Lot includes: M1874 US Cavalry Butler Varney horse hobbles and side lines. This set has a 52 embossed on one cuff and individual marks cut into the leather on the other cuff. Still retains the original 27" chain with the swivel in the middle. This set is missing one spring clip. Displays well.  1M1878 US Cavalry Butler Varney horse hobbles and side lines. This set has a D54 embossed on one cuff and some individual marks cut into the leather on the other cuff. Still retains the original 33" chain with the swivel in the middle. This set has lost both springs clips. **Overall both are in very good condition. Leather on both sets have some cracking and small chipping but still pliable. All the stitching is tight and all the strapping is present. Shows wear but no tears or holes.** $400-$600
