Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1960. Gun comes with Griffin and Howe Letter stating it was shipped to Abercrombie and Fitch on October 24, 1960 and sold to "Jas. H. Stamp" in 1961. Also comes with Browning Letter verifying all options and original price. This model was only built from 1960-1966. Fitted with 28" blued Special Steel barrels in 12 gauge with ventilated rib, ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, Full and Modified chokes, with Browning St. Louis and Montreal address markings. Satin finish receiver with vignette background engraving and a pointer on right with pheasant in mouth and a setter scene on left with duck in mouth. Both panels signed "L. Vrancken". Bottom has vignette and quail scene. Design was originally designed by Felix Funken and executed by Louis Vrancken. Action has gold washed single selective trigger with top tang safety and barrel selector. Select checkered walnut long tang round knob pistol grip stock with "Browning" butt plate. CONDITION
Overall 95% finish with some usage dings and marks and finish starting to dull. Good bores and mechanics. Case in good condition.
