This is a second pattern M1904 McClellan Saddle WWI time frame 1915-1918. The Model 1904 did not start manufacturing until 1908. This saddle is a World War 1 manufacturing time frame. This saddle change was the adoption of the adjustable lower rigging. The new safes are round and both they and the underside of the seat were backed with Sheepskin. All seat fittings are bronzed. All coat straps are on the saddle and has a M1904 horse hair cinch. (SADDLE STAND NOT INCLUDED) $500-$1,000
