This is a nice saddle and they are not real easy to find. It has the proper cut down stirrups for M1928 and also hard to find. The M1928 has three 33" pommel coat straps and three 45" cantle straps. This is the last issue of the McClellan saddle. More correctly this saddle is a modification of the M1904 McClellan saddle. This modification included the addition of skirts to the saddle tree very similar to the skirts that appeared on the first issue of the saddle in 1859. A new system of girth straps was also added. Three straps were added to the underside of the saddle tree to replace the quarter straps and single girth strap used on previous McClellan's. (SADDLE STAND NOT INCLUDED) $800-$1,200
