SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 896938. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model HSc semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser for commercial sales during World War II. Left side of the slide is marked with the Mauser banner logo, followed by Mauser's mfg. information above: "Mod. HSc (3 Lines) Kal.7,65mm". Right side of the frame and slide exhibit an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece crosshatched wood grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 2 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather holster marked with what appears to be a "jhg/ 44" mfg. code and 2-digit year of mfg., with an Eagle/WaA41 acceptance proof stamped on the closure flap strap. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning (mainly on the grip straps and underside of the trigger guard), with some scattered superficial handling marks and a few spots of oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are good, exhibiting scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage. Holster remains malleable, showing some light age-related cracking, some light wear, and a few small spots of light crazing, but otherwise it remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-1490/MLW).
