According to the consignor, this group of American militaria belonged to a gentleman with the last name Bright who served in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII. This lot includes 1 entrenching shovel with a folding spade and wooden handle. / 1 Entrenching shovel with a fixed spade and wooden handle. / 1 Pair of wooden snowshoes measuring 18 1/2" x 9" with cotton khaki canvas centers. / 1 Small folding leather toolkit with a screwdriver, needle nose pliers, and wire benders. The outside of the kit is marked "INSPECTOR'S POCKET KIT, SINGLE CORPS, U.S. ARMY." / 1 Unissued first aid item that reads, in part, "PACKET FIRST-AID FIELD BROWN DRESSING U.S. ARMY CARLISLE MODEL". / 1 Small amber glass vial with screw cap. / 1 Heavy duty wire cutter, marked "U.S. WM.
