This interesting lot consists of 1 black beret with a square red wool flash under an Irish cap badge featuring Gallic writing surrounding "FF". / 1 light blue beret with no insignia. / 1 WWII German Army overseas cap with a small cloth Army eagle and a cockade on the front. This cap has significant moth damage. / 1 post-unification German overseas cap with a black, yellow, and red cockade on the front. / 2 US French Croix de Guerre Fourrageres featuring green and red braided cord with a gilded brass drop. / 1 pair of WWI German binoculars in their original leather belt case. Featuring instructions on the inside of the lid. The binoculars appears to be field green painted brass with a 1-piece rear lens cover. CONDITION: hats show light wear, except as noted. Fourrageres appear unissued. Binoculars show wear and oxidation but the optics appear fine. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (02-23938 /BF). $200-400.
