Kerneels Viljoen from Monkane Safaris has donated a tremendous opportunity for 2 hunters. This 7-day 2x1 plains game rifle or bow safari for two hunters in South Africa’s Limpopo Province – includes a trophy fee credit of $2000 per hunter. This hunt is available March through October in 2025 or 2026 and may include additional species at current price list. Additional hunters are welcome at $350/day; non-hunters are welcome at $290/day. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by vehicle with hunting done by spot & stalk.
Monkane Safaris is based in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, a mere 20 minutes north of Thabazimbi. This region is called the “bushveld” and is absolutely one of the top hunting areas in the world. Monkane Safaris is honored to play a major role in this most exclusive South African hunting paradise.
Kerneels Viljoen, who grew up in the “bushveld” and gained experience from an early age hunting with his father, is the main driving force behind this Safari and will be honored to welcome you in South Africa. Kerneels will guide you as an experienced professional hunter in the field. Kerneels and his team possess a deep passion for nature, hunting, and hosting hunters, and promise a once in a lifetime hunting experience. Kerneels has hunted with very satisfied clients for the past fourteen years.
Monkane Safari’s luxury lodge consists of six rooms, each with a double bed or two single beds, and with an en-suite bathroom. All modern amenities are provided, including hot and cold running water for sinks and showers, flushing toilets, and daily laundry services. Our professionally trained staff will attend to your every need be it culinary or otherwise. Meals consist of hunters’ choice, including real bush cuisine with plentiful meats on the menu complimented by some of South Africa's top wines. Campfires and barbeques are an evening staple and are accompanied by the nocturnal sounds of the African bush, which brings home the true African experience.
The goal of Monkane Safaris is to combine an incredible hunting experience with personal care and attention to provide hunters with memories to last a lifetime. Monkane Safaris offers hunting in the best concessions with high quality trophy animals and ensures that each of its hand-picked professional hunters guides clients to harvest the best trophies possible.
Included in the donation are professional guide service with expert trackers for 2 hunters, $2000 trophy credit per hunter, Field prep of trophies, Trophy transportation of trophies to shipper, Lodge accommodations, Daily maid/laundry service, Wi-Fi, beverages (including alcohol in moderation), and all meals.
Excluded: Airfare, Roundtrip ground transfers from O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) to lodge: $400 per hunter, Dip & pack service, Gun rental at $70/day (if needed, ammunition included)
Accommodations before/after the hunt; arrival/departure days at $220 per day and Gratuities.
