This varied lot includes 1 small khaki cotton backpack with the name "Joyce" written on the outside. / 1 Khaki roll-up sewing kit, including pins, needles, and thread. / 1 Small OD canvas bag with a Boy Scout insignia stamped on the outside. / 1 Large OD pouch with a black rubber gasmask on the inside that has a cracked eyepiece. / 2 WWI period aluminum mess kits. / 3 Pairs of military-style binoculars, all in their original cases. / 1 Six-pointed badge that reads "DEPUTY SHERIFF WINNEBAGO COUNTY 15" with a central Illinois state seal. The back of the badge is marked "THE C.H. HANSON CO. CHICAGO". / 1 Police cap badge with an eagle on the top. Badge reads "WINNEBAGO CO. ILL." with a central enamel disc showing the state seal of Illinois with the words "STATE OF ILLINOIS". The bottom of the badge reads "DEPUTY SHERIFF". / 1 Leather belt from the 20th century with a 2-prong buckle. / 1 Folding combination mess kit spoon and fork. / 1 WWI knife, fork, and spoon set for a mess kit, dated 1917. Knife has a broken tip; other utensils have been painted. / 1 WWI-era variable-density set of goggles from the American Optical Company.
