Clint Eagar is the 2020/21 SCI Artist of the Year. Print Edition 12 of 120. This incredible animal is close to Clint’s heart. Seeing them on a regular basis in South Africa in his youth, Clint has captured the fantastic frontal powerful view of this imposing creature in its natural habitat. Standing on the African plain, with a deep teal dramatic sky, and strong contrasting shape of the light touching the texture of the body and tusks, is indeed nature at its best. The prints are created on artist-selected paper and canvas, with acrylic inks and finishes that Clint has determined most closely capture the color of his original paintings.
