Professionally restored lever action rifle manufactured circa 1881-1891. Features 28" octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, buckhorn sights, adjustable tang peep sight, straight grip, serrated Pachmayr butt plate. Spring loaded sliding door on the loading gate, The rifle has been reblued and the wood refinished. The bore is excellent/bright, action is crisp/smooth, the refinished is very good with very minor scratches/nicks, the steel forearm cap has a bronze color to it, the receiver sides have a matte finish with the rest of the metal is bright blue, reblue is about 97% with slight edge wear and some light scratches to the sides of the receiver. Comes with a nice fringed brown soft leather rifle scabbard.
