Built in Wien, Austria by Martin Kruschitz, in 1947. 24" blued octagon to round barrel with raised matted maker marked rib. Barrel has ramped front sight, notch rear sight and is dated "47" on bottom of barrel with Austrian proofs. The caliber is not marked but is 8m/m or some variation and should be chamber cast. Rifle has floral engraved 98 Mauser style action with spoon bolt, tang safety, double set triggers and game scene engraved floorplate and trigger guard. Walnut skip-line checkered pistol grip Schnabel forearm stock with Bakelite grip cap, right cheekpiece and hard rubber butt plate. J.T. Livengood Collection. S/N: 190.49. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
90% original blue with light oxidation from poor storage. 90% original oil finish with sharp checkering. Good bore and mechanics.
