Slide finish is very good showing only light marks from firing; frame shows thinning to the finish on front and rear gripstraps, wear to triggerguard finish, front frame sides and sideplate, and with scattered pinprick pitting in several places on frame and sideplate. Grip panels are very nice with some flattening of the diamonds and light wear near the bottom. Grip screw slots are nice and the screws retain approx. 25% of their fire blued finish; straw finish on the trigger has about 25% remaining in protected areas. Thumb safety lever and takedown lever have about 20% remaining straw finish. Mag release button and slide spring retain about 90% of their straw finish. Bore is in excellent bright condition with only the slightest hint of frosting in the grooves that may clean. Tin-plated magazine shows wear and use to the finish and has numerous dings and scratches to the aluminum base. Black leather holster is marked inside with a faint maker's mark of ''Carl Heimic(?) Dresden, WaA142 Weimar eagle proofmark, and dated 1935. Condition of the holster is good with scratches and wear to the surfaces overall. There are some old repairs to the stitching on the top flap, the stitching and added steel rivets to the belt loops, and pull strap to remove the gun is missing. One belt loop is not as wide as the other, so may be an old replacement. Est.: $750-$1,000. (C&R)
