This Movie Prop Mexican Army Infantry Rifleman's Uniform was used in the 1960 John Wayne movie the Alamo as these came from the estate of Joe Musso, who worked on the film, and was a personnel friend of John Wayne. White uniform with 11 brass domed buttons, missing one, trousers have faded red stripes on the legs. Tunic stamped in sleeve "Western costume Co.." and has W.C.C. cloth tag sewn on right side with the name "Al Stevens. Trousers ink stamped"Western Costume Co. Hollywood Ca." ,, and sewn cloth label with name. who supplied the uniforms. Blue wool tunic with red collar/cuffs, nine domed, brass buttons. Trousers are dark blue wool with red stripes. White leather cross strap with Mexican Eagle/Snake brass plate, holding a French style short sword, and bayonet. Blue felt shako with white cover. Very good Condition.
