31.75" spearpoint blade with 26.5" median fuller, 1" wide at ricasso. Gilt brass guard with folding counterguard and single recurved quillon. Ivory grip with wire wrap. Lapped iron scabbard with "JC" on drag. This helmet was displayed in the “Battle for Texas: The Experience”, exhibit in San Antonio Texas, and was attributed to Lieutenant Santiago Tapia. **Blade has moderate scattered oxidation and light rust scaling.
