35" quillback blade with 11" false edge, 1.125" wide at forte. Blade etched with floral scrolls and panoplies of arms with a Mexican eagle on the obverse. Ornate three-branch brass guard with recurved quillon. Guard with large panel of Mexican eagle and French maker's stamp. Silvered metal grip with wire wrap. Iron scabbard with gilt brass mounts. **Good condition overall. Blade retains some brightness with some areas of oxidation and a minor patch of rust scaling. Some minor imperfections to cutting edge. Guard has an even dark patination with grip and wire remaining in good condition.
