Model 1953 Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle, previously in the estate of legendary performer Bob Hope; 7.62 x 54R caliber showing a 1960 date and Chinese manufacture with bent bolt and re-blued finish; S/N G1714, 21” barrel and woodstock. Overall good condition as refinished with the wood showing military type use and many small scratches, dents, etc.; good action and bore. Most likely, this was a presentation piece to Mr. Hope by U.S. forces during a USO tour.Accompanied by a folder with certificate of authenticity stating this exact rifle is from the estate of Bob Hope and assorted paperwork from when the Hope Family Trust sold Mr. Hope’s collection thru Little John’s at the Tribute toAmerican Veterans Auction on June 29th and 30th, 2014.
