Model 3 Schofield revolver, .45 S&W Schofield cal., serial #1411. The pistol is in overall good condition. The revolver has a period re-nickeled finish which is flaking at the muzzle and at the rear of the action. The pistol does not have anymartial markings on the butt or any visible cartouches on the grips. The smooth wood grips are in good condition overall with small mars and compressions consistent with use. The bore is fair to good, the action crisp and markings arelegible. The pistol comes with a factory letter indicating shipment from the factory on July 12, 1875. The pistol was shipped to the United States Armory in Springfield, Massachusetts. The pistol comes with a period, martial, two position flapholster used with Colt SAA and Scholfield revolvers. The holster is in overall very good condition with some age cracking but otherwise tight seams and brass hardware. Est.: $3,000-$6,000. (Antique).
