Welcome to Silent Mountain Outfitters, located in the stunning East Kootenay area of BC! This 1:1 backcountry hunt will take place on over 1500 square kilometers of beautiful country, located next to Glacier National Park and in the world renowned Bugaboo Provincial Park . Bring a friend and make it a 2:1 hunt for an additional $3,950 CAD and fees. This territory hosts some of the highest black bear populations in Southern BC due to top quality bear habitat including outstanding berry crops. Expect to see multiple bears with a variety of hide colours with a very good chance of spotting a colour phase bear (Tom and his guides see a good number of them each season).
The Hunting is spot and stalk with travel being by truck or on foot. Hunter will be staying in Silent Mountain's comfortable lodge, complete with hot running water and individual rooms. Licenses, tags, HPF and hotel accommodations before and after the hunt are not included. This is a great hunt for both the experienced hunter or those new to the hunting tradition.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
