Movie prop flintlock rifle made from a U.S. Springfield Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 caliber, 32.5” round barrel, non-firing, wood full length stock, S/N 258413, with modern leather sling. This prop gun is in overall fair to good condition with a working action, dark bore, plum brown patina mixed with some original finish, brass cast flintlock hammer and frizzen; heavily worn and modified stock with “S” stamped on the right side of the butt stock, likely identifying this as a prop previously maintained in the famous Stembridge Armory, provider of props to all the major motion picture studios during the first half of the 20th Century. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
