Museum quality Wheelock blunderbuss with provenance to the Royal Collection of Prince Von Hobenlohe, Langenburg with Castle Armoury I.D. plaque in belly of the stock. The gun remains in original very good plus to nearfine original condition with sharp and crisp metal surfaces with a light museum quality cleaning. The wood is also near fine with no major defects just minor normal aging. Measures approximately 41” overall with a 27” thick walled iron barrel and nearly 2” bore. Typical early to mid-17th century style from Germany or middle Europe. An outstanding Wheelock of which knowledgeable collectors estimate less than a dozen blunderbusswheelocks in private hands worldwide. One fetched over $30,000 at Little Johns auction of the F. Robling collection which we feel this to be a superior example as form and provenance. Est.: $8,000-$16,000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
