Smith imported British percussion pistol, .50 caliber, 6” octagon barrel with “Philadelphia” recessed hallmark at breech, checkered wood stock, in overall very good condition with “London-fine wire twist” marking on top barrel flat, “N.A.Smith” marking on back action lockplate that is also engraved as is the hammer, crisp action, German silver mounts, pleasing dark patina, very good wood. Accompanied by a note from consignor that provides basic information on the piece.(Antique). Est.: $350-$700.
