PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 901771. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model HSc semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser during World War II. Left side of the slide is marked with the Mauser banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Mauser's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of frame is marked with an Eagle/WaA135 acceptance proof on the rear trigger guard web, with an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a salt blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Right grip has been partially carved with a smooth panel. Slide features a concave rib, with a blade front sight and U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal salt blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, some spots of thinning, as well as a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few small spots of light to mild pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-4105/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
