BREAK ACTION SHOTGUNS. 1). Cal. 410 GA. S# 4648. Bbl. 26". Model 20 single shot break action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1920. Left side of bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by "-MOD.20-.410"., with "FULL" marked at the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with plain wood schnabel tip forend. Brass bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, trigger guard, as well as on the underside of the bbl. CONDITION: very good overall, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning (primarily on the underside of the receiver and trigger guard), with a few scattered superficial handling marks, and some scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few scattered spots of what appears to be light surface oxidation and/or pitting towards the breech. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-2037/MLW). 2) Cal. 410 GA. S# 22822. Bbl. 26". Model 20 single shot break action shotgun mfg. by Winchester post 1927. Left side of bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. and patent information, followed by "-MOD.20-410", with "FULL" marked at the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with plain wood schnabel tip forend. Aluminum bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the underside of the receiver and trigger guard. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear, thinning, and scattered superficial handling marks overall, with the underside of the receiver and trigger guard having worn away to mostly gray patina. Mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be a few spots of oxidation around the internal edges of the chamber. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. A nice pair of Winchester model 20 single shot shotguns. (24-2038/MLW).
