Manufactured in 1917 by Ernst Merkle in Suhl Germany. Features 29-5/8" blued Krupp steel barrels with Krupp markings. Ventilated rib with bead front sight and extractors. Chambered for 2-3/4" shells with Modified and Cylinder chokes. Game scene engraved scalloped action with gold inlaid owner's initial on opening lever and remnants of gold on receiver. Action has Greener crossbolt, double triggers and non-automatic safety. Walnut replacement checkered round knob pistol grip stock with right hand cheekpiece and horn butt plate. Original walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. LOP: 14-3/4". DAC: 1-1/4". DAH: 2". CALIBER: 16 GA. S/N: 9382. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 90% finish with no case colors remaining and gold border work missing. Replacement stock with forearm exposed to fire look. Good bores with functional mechanics - does not lock up tight.
