Peter and Anso Thormahlen of Thormahlen & Cochran are donating 7 days of accommodation, meals and services of their professional hunter, vehicle, skinners and field preparation, as well as a credit of $1000 towards any trophies of your choice. They have no hidden costs and pick up and drop off is included in our donations. The donation can be taken up in 2015 or 2016 (March through December) in either Namibia or in South Africa.

Side trips are available at additional costs. VAT taxes, airfare and accommodations before and after the scheduled hunt are not included.

On request and for special trophy needs, we also accompany our clients to Cameroon and Zimbabwe for elephant and leopard/buffalo combinations. Below is a brief overview of our concessions and touring/sightseeing opportunities:

SOUTH AFRICA:
We mostly hunt in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga province but cater for all possible trophy needs in South Africa. The mountainous private reserve in Mpumalanga provides an exciting and challenging hunting experience with a variety of plains game and dangerous game. It is also close to the famous Kruger National Park and Panorama route – providing an excellent opportunity for us to entertain our observers/non-hunters and families on a guided sightseeing tour!

Popular Touring/Sightseeing destinations include:
- Cape Town, its vineyards and peninsula, Table Mountain; Hermanus and Whale watching;
- Mpumalanga: Various cultural villages/tribal dancing (Swazi, Zulu & Shangaan); Scenic Panorama Route (Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Potholes, Graskop); Kruger National Park; Elephant back safaris, shark-diving, quad bike routes, horse riding, aerial cable trail, zip lines and famous golf courses.

NAMIBIA:
T&C Safaris Namibia (legally registered with the Namibian Tourism Board as a Trophy Hunting Operation) operate on huge Government and Communal free range Conservancies, as well as various Private Properties, enabling us to offer our clients a complete range of all possible trophy species in Namibia.

Free Range Kaokoland Conservancy concessions, on the western side of Etosha National Park, include Ehirovipuka, Anabeb, Orupupa and Otuzemba Conservancy, totaling more than 2million acres of pristine, breath-taking, un-spoilt, unfenced Africa. The conservancies are tribal land, owned and inhabited by native Tribes.

The Mahango Concession in the Caprivi district of Namibia offers a true wilderness feel. It is located in the north east of Namibia on the Botswana border. Year round water ensures an abundance of game such as trophy elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, roan, sable, lechwe, Burchell zebra, blue wildebeest, kudu, warthog, giraffe, duiker and impala. Elephants migrate between Angola and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Over 400 bird species have been recorded in the Mahango Reserve.

Western Kavango and Mangetti Concession have a beautiful environment and variety of game. Rare species of game like the black and white rhino and wild dog populations occur in the concession. Mangetti National Park is situated 100 km from Rundu and clients can take a connection flight from Windhoek to Rundu. The hunting quota consists of elephant, leopard, spotted hyena, eland, duiker, blue wildebeest and steenbuck.

Besides trophy hunting, we offer sightseeing opportunities to our clients – most popular destinations and activities include:
- the Namib Desert and its dunes, and dune boarding,
- The desolate Skeleton Coast and West Coast fishing,
- The wildlife of Etosha National Park,
- The Fish River Canyon and and the unique star shaped dune mountains in Sossusvlei,
- Native and Diverse cultures: San/Bushman, Himbas, Portuguese and German influences
- The historic German towns, Lüderitz and Swakopmund.
