Gila Trophy Outfitters offers this opportunity to hunt Mountain Lion in New Mexico’s Gila National Forest! Hunting Mountain Lions is a challenging yet rewarding hunt! These creatures are wise and often evade detection by man alone. That is where the use of hounds trained for tracking lions comes in! This ten day hunt (hunt can also be arranged on an “on-call” basis) is scheduled for the 2015 hunting season (January 1, 2015 to March 2015). Hunter will hunt 1X1 during this hunt. Lodging (guide tents, wall tents and/or cabins are used depending on the exact hunt location) and meals are provided during the hunt. Hunter may choose his weapons – rifle, bow or hand gun. Hunter is responsible for the cost of a license ($334); shipping of trophy and meat; and tips. Hunt may be upgraded to include bobcat ($500). Airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged ($500 round trip) – it is a 3.5 hour drive from Albuquerque International Airport.
