Silver medal, 52mm, by Charles Cushing Wright, reverse having iconography taken from the Seal of New York City encircled by the text & #34;Presented By The City of New York / To The N.Y. Regiment of Volunteers In Mexico,& #34; and engraved to & #34;Albert Lombard, Company E.& #34; Obverse with Liberty in the foreground of Vera Cruz, encircled by the names of four major battles in which the New York Regiment fought: Vera Cruz, Cerro Gordo, Chapultec, and Cherubusco.
