The Bamber family has been outfitting for over 35 years on land that has been in the Bamber family for over 100 years. This 5-day New Zealand package for 2 hunters AND 2 non-hunting companions, includes trophy fees for 2 Red Stags scoring up to 320 SCI. This hunt will be completely “fair chase.” Meals and accommodations at the outfitter’s first-class lodge, guide fees, field prep, delivery of trophy to shipper, GST taxes, and pickup/return to Wanganui Airport are all included in this offering. This fabulous hunt can be upgraded to larger stags, or by adding Fallow, Chamois, Tahr, Rusa, Ram, Goat, or Boar. Weapons that may be used include rifle, black powder, bow or crossbow. If rifle is used, it is recommended to bring approximately 40 rounds of ammunition.
The lodge sits in a natural environment that will take your breath away, with 360-degree views of native New Zealand forests and snowcapped volcanic mountains. There is also a luxury cabin with en suite and spa bath a short walk from the main lodge. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, Sky TV, phone and all-day laundry service. Notable previous hunters include Richard Childress and Jeff Foxworthy.
***The hunt may be taken on available dates March thru July of 2026, 2027 or 2028.
Not included: Airfare, expediting and shipping of trophies, upgrades of stags and additional animals harvested.

All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase or work with the outfitter to change the dates of the hunt.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
Lubbock SCI is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
Lubbock SCI has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, Lubbock SCI does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the Lubbock SCI donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to Lubbock SCI with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to Lubbock SCI within 12 months of the auction date.
Lubbock SCI does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is,” including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty or guarantees on the part of Lubbock SCI or Safari Club International (SCI). Lubbock SCI and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that Lubbock SCI and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic, acts of god, or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can Lubbock SCI or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
Lubbock SCI reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
